enjoyed a poem of William Bronk
I posted, so here's another one:

Recession

In the late summer, the sky begins to grow
Larger. Noticeably. Melons. the blue
recedes into mid-fall, The things in it, clouds
or whatever, are not more, but more distinct
and further apart. You have to maintain a watch
for such effects. You have to be looking to see.
